Public reviews and directories put Fonteva at around $175 per user per month including the Salesforce licensing underneath, billed annually — before an association-management implementation that often costs more than the first year of software.
A 1,500-member association — counting members, lapsed members you still manage, and partner contacts — fits the 2,000-person plan at $199 a month with unlimited users, join and renewal forms, dues, events, and your member site included. Five staff seats at $175 each would run about $875 a month; this whole plan is $199. Eligible charitable organizations may receive 20% off after separate review; the public calculator shows the standard price until approval.

Honest answers
Enterprise associations — tens of thousands of members, complex chapter structures, a Salesforce administrator on staff — are who Salesforce-native AMS platforms are built for, and at that scale the investment can be justified. If that is your association, evaluate them seriously. If your whole staff fits around one table, you are probably not the buyer they priced for.
